Last month of Entry!

Remember to submit your film to Fredrikstad Animation Festival. The deadline is 1.September,
so make sure to keep the cows in you renderfarm well fed,  and send your film in time.
As you may already know, Animation Volda acts as an pre-selection for FAF,
so all student films that meet the critirias described below will be shown during Animation Volda 2013.

 

Criterias:

  • Any frame by frame or com­puter assisted film may be entered.
  • Max­i­mum run­ning time: 30 minutes.
  • Films must have been com­pleted Jan­u­ary 1st. 2012 or after.
  • The same film can­not enter the com­pe­ti­tion twice.
  • The direc­tor of the film must be a cit­i­zen of a Nordic or Baltic coun­try,
    or the coun­try of ori­gin of the film must be Nordic or Baltic.

The Nordic-Baltic coun­tries are defined as Nor­way, Swe­den, Den­mark, Fin­land, Ice­land, Esto­nia, Lithua­nia and Latvia.

Entry dead­line: Sep­tem­ber 1st.

CHRISTEN BACH TO VOLDA

It`s comfirmed, Christen Bach is coming to Animation Volda 2013,
and will be holding a seminar during the festival called “My greatest failures”
revolving rejected jobs,and personal experiments that has exploded
well beyond what they were intended for, like the “Animation Tag attack” and “Bear Untitled”.
